This year we're doing, for the first time, for-pay training in the couple of days before Kiwicon. But, with a Kiwicon twist - all the trainers are running the same (or similar) content for pay on Thusrday and for free on Friday. So, if you're learning stuff you get paid to do, we think it'd be swell if you paid your way, which then helps those who are still getting there too. Selling out, Kiwicon style.

Yeah! We've announced the first set of speakers for Kiwicon 7 - Bram & Mathais from MEGA, mjg from Redhat, plus of course our own industry stalwart, Dr Peter Gutmann (who holds the (potentially dubious) honour of being the only person to have spoken at every Kiwicon ever). Security-Assessment.com makes a good showing with two speakers in the first round, and of course there's more to come. We'll reveal our keynote speaker soon, plus there's still time for ... YOU! The call for papers closes 14th Oct, so there's still time to submit. If its your first time, why not try for a 15 minute slot?
